Tom Sawyer

Tom came out of his house carrying a brunsh and a big pot of whitw paint. He looked at the fence which was three metres high and thirty metres long. He put his brush in the paint. Then he stopped to look at the fence, put down his brush and sat down. There were hours of work infront of him and sat down. THere were hours of work in front of him and he was the saddest boy in the village.

Tom elinde bir fırça ve büyük bir kap beyaz boyayla evden dışarı çıktı. Üç metre yüksekliğinde ve otuz metre uzunluğundaki çite baktı. Çitin bir kısmını boyamadan önce fırçasını boyanın içine batırdı. Daha sonra çite bakmak için durdu, fırçasını yere koydu ve oturdu. Saatlerce çalışması gerekiyordu ve o kasabadaki en üzgün çocuktu.
